Lords and Ladies - Arum maculatum
Ths was found growing in a wood near Sussex University. The purple spathe gives off a smell that attracts small flies. The flies get caught in the swelling at the base of the flower until the flower is ready to release pollen. The flies then fly off, carrying the pollen away to other flowers.
