Autumn Gentian - Gentianella amarella
As it's name suggests this is a pretty little species that comes out in the Autumn. Right now is a great time to go looking for them, they can be found growing in chalk grassland all over Sussex.

About Flower Hunt
My aim is to find all the different flowers growing in Sussex and to photograph them. One flower for every day.
If you have photos or artwork of one of the species listed here why not send me a link or share your website under the comments for that plant.
